Jen Halbert was working as a graphic artist at the Southwest Orlando Bulletin. While there, she met Amy Allen, owner of L.A. Acting Workshop. Jen began designing the company's ads in trade for acting classes. That is when she fell in love with the art of acting. While studying at L.A. Acting Workshop, she worked with coaches Lyle Moon and John DiDonna. She's also trained with Bob Luke, Ken Grant and Yvonne Suhor in Orlando.

After stepping foot onto her first film set, Never Back Down, Jen knew she was where she belonged. Since then, she has had the honor of working on several films, including Ace Ventura 3, Action News 5, Beethoven: The Reel Story, Bait Shop, This Man's Life, HBO's Recount and more. Halbert had the time of her life portraying "Janet" in her first leading role in the feature film, December. She, also, has experience in television, print, commercials, infomercials, theatre, music videos, voice-overs and corporate-training videos.

Jen is now living in Los Angeles, where she's had the opportunity to train with some of the greats at Upright Citizens Brigade, NYFA, Lesly Kahn & Co. and with the late Larry Drake. Halbert's latest work includes roles in the feature films, Defeated & Mafiosa, a Bart Baker's music-video parody, Tosh.0 and a production at The Children's Theatre of Long Beach Buddy's Big Day Out.
